FINALS DAY - PART 2 report by Diane Lomas

Hi everyone

Another wonderful day of bowling for the spectators!

This morning Karen Hollingdale and Sue Derbyshire played the Ladies 101 match. Thank you to Morris Arnold for making a sturdy scoring matšŸ˜€šŸ‘šŸ‘ It was a very long session with Karen finally winning. Sue was so glad to get her pint after the match!šŸŗ Thank you Jill for marking.

After the lunch break, where we all tucked in to savouries and wonderful cakes, came the afternoon session with John Egan and Bruce Mount giving us a masterclass in bowls. Fantastic to watch. Very close but John just edged ahead to become Singles Champion. Congratulations to all of you.

Thank you again to everyone who came by along to support and to those who helped with food, catering and clearing up.

It was a wonderful occasion.

Please remember that next Saturday 10th is our Fun Day. The Golden Sausage competition will go ahead šŸ˜‚ and there will be some other fun games to keep everyone amused. Please bring family and friends.
